It’s the live-action remake that we’ve been waiting for and now Disney have confirmed that it’s on the way!

Following in the footsteps of Aladdin, The Lion King, and Little Mermaid comes the live-action remake of Hercules!

And boy, oh boy does that news put the glad in gladiator!!

The film is going to be produced by the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony Russo who famously directed Avengers Endgame and Infinity War, and will be written by Dave Callaham who also wrote The Expendables.

In case you don’t know what Hercules is about, the Disney animated film was released in 1997 and followed the Greek legend of Hercules, who is trying to reclaim his heroic stature and rejoin his parents in Olympus, while fighting off the evil Hades.

There’s no word yet on who will be cast in the live-action remake, but honestly if they don’t cast Ariana Grande as Meg after her cover of ‘I Won’t Say I’m In Love’ for the Disney Family Singalong, we’ll riot.
