This year’s season of The Bachelor with Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins has been filled with more explosive rumours than most…
For example, possibility that Nick chooses none of the women on the show to go back to his ex or the one that surfaced just yesterday claiming that our Bachie had pulled a Blake Garvey and ditched the winner to go back to ex-contestant Cass Wood.
But the latest rumour is possibly the most unexpected one yet. According to a family member, Nick is actually ENGAGED and due to be married to a mystery woman.
Speaking with Woman’s Day, Nick’s uncle Mike (remember the one from the tragic pizza date with Romy?) said that the rugby player was heading down the aisle.
“He’s getting married,” said Mike before adding that he couldn’t say much else as he was under a “confidentiality agreement”. Yeah we think you let some pretty confidential info slip there already uncle Mike…
At this point it’s unclear who the lucky lady is that received a ring from Nick, whether it’s the rumoured winner of the show Brittany or rumoured girlfriend Cass or possibly even someone we’ve never met, but Uncle Mike said that he has not yet met the woman who is now his nephew’s fiancee.
(I guess at least we can take comfort in the fact that it’s definitely not Romy then…)
Of course if we had to bet on who the mystery woman is, our current guess would be Cass Wood, who it’s rumoured Nick dumped the winning woman for after letting her go in a previous episode.
Yesterday it was reported in New Idea that the Honey Badger had dumped the winning woman following the finale, rumoured to be frontrunner Brittany Hockley, after realising that he had made a mistake in letting Cass go.
“Nick felt compelled to let Cassie go after Britt’s hometown date”, claimed the source. “The pressure was on for him to prove that Cass wasn’t planted on the show for him, and he made a rash decision – but it wasn’t a decision that he sincerely wanted to make.”
The insider also claimed that Cass was willing to take Nick back, despite the fact that he dumped her on national TV, saying that they will debut their romance after the finale airs this week.
“It’s going to be intense – but they’re happy,” alleged the source.
So will there be a ring on Cass’ finger if they actually do announce that they’re a couple? We guess we’ll have to just wait and see!
The Bachelor finishes up this week with an episode tonight and the finale tomorrow at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
