There were allegedly fears of an attempted hijacking on board the plane that is on the ground, and was bound for Madrid.
BBC has since reported that all passengers and crew have been safely removed from the aircraft.
The nature of the incident is unknown as investigations continue, however, it has been described as a GRIP-3 situation by Dutch official, meaning an incident or serious event with major consequences to a local population.
Some reports on Twitter suggest that the incident was a false alarm.
