The TV streaming wars are officially ON as AppleTV+ confirms their launch date and Aussie pricing.
The service, which boasts ‘all original’ programming, will launch in 100 countries including Australia on November 1, according to TV Black Box.
Their line-up will include original movies, documentaries and series, including Morning Wars starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carrell.
(fun fact, Morning Wars is actually known as The Morning Show but had to be changed for Australian audiences because of The Morning Show on Channel 7, yes, the one with Larry Emdur)
When the service launches, most series will kick off with three ready-to-go episodes, with one new ep per series to be added each week.
AppleTV+ will cost $7.99 a month.
And if you’re in the market for a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch or Mac, you’ll cop a year of AppleTV+ for nix.
