It’s hard to believe that it was exactly a year ago that we were all sitting at home with our scones and tea with all eyes glued to our TV screens as we watched the royal wedding.

On May 19 2018, the world watched on as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by the royal family and tons of celebrity friends.

Since then the pair have already started their own family, with Meghan giving birth to their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor almost two weeks ago.

Yesterday, one year on from the royal wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a heartwarming video posted to their Instagram account.

“Happy one year anniversary to Their Royal Highness, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!” the post read.

“Today marks the one year anniversary of the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at St Geroge’s Chapel within the ground of Windsor Castle on May 19th, 2018.”

The video featured a number of black and white photos from the special day that allowed us all to relive the moment as well as some behind the scenes images that we haven’t seen before.

It was accompanied by the song, ‘This Little Light Of Mine’ which was sung during their processional by The Kingdom Choir.

A message was also included from Harry and Meghan personally.

“Thank you for all the love and support from so many of you around the world. Each of you made this day even more meaningful,” they said.

Love is so beautiful!

Don’t mind us, we’ll just be sitting here watching this video over and over for the rest of the day.
