Miley just dropped her brand new album, Plastic Hearts, and the grunge-glam visuals so far are serving us some nostalgic vibes!

At the end of her new ‘Prisoner’ music video, a message pops up that reads: “In loving memory of all my exes. Eat sh**.”

Empowering.

‘The Climb’ singer appeared on The Project where it appeared nothing was off limits or censored.

Conversations around new music, Los Angeles, losing her home to bushfires and her famous Aussie ex’s flowed…

When Lisa Wilkinson asked about the “eat sh**” message, Miley said, “I think life can be painful, and sometimes poking fun and laughing along, I always feel like life is laughing at me and pulling strings.”

“I think that was a way that I was able to fight back at that and poke a little fun at it and create something that was campy and that was the perfect book-end for what we made, you know,” she continued.

“When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone,” she said. “I don’t get off on drama or fighting.”

“Me being an intense person and not wanting to sit with it and not wanting to go, you know, ‘What could be purposeful about this?’ I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him,” she said. “And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do, always will.”
