Americans Hanna (Julia Garner) and Liv (Jessica Henwick) are best friends backpacking Australia when they run out of money. The take a live-in job at a rural outback pub to make some quick cash before continuing their journey when things go sideways and they find themselves in quite a dangerous situation.
It’s been many years since we’ve seen a proper Australian thriller but this one looks fantastic (and terrifying). ‘The Royal Hotel’ hits cinemas October 6th, check out the trailer below.
