After weeks of rumours and speculation about whether it was going ahead or not, an Australian version of Bachelor in Paradise has OFFICIALLY been confirmed by Channel 10! Can I hear a hallelujah?
The Australian network, which is already home to The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, announced the upcoming show on their Facebook page.
Everyone take a moment to have a mini celebration.
And if you are unsure as to what will be so incredibly epic about this series, it is said to feature all of the ex Bachie contestants that we love, or love to hate, trying to find love with each other. Talk about DRAMA…ugh I mean romance…
Network Ten have further addressed the show in a press release saying, “the special event television series” will air in 2018 and will take place in “a romantic tropical destination overseas”.
“Bachelor in Paradise will follow the contestants as they build new relationships, fall in love or face heartbreak, again,” the statement continues. (we’re hooked already)
There have been no definite confirmations surrounding who will partake in this new series, but rumour has it that we can expect to see resident villain Keira Maguire, fan-fav Nikki Gogan, and two of Sam Frost ex’s, Blake Garvey and Sasha Mielczarek.
This will be GOOD TV.
An air date has not yet been released but when it is, we’ll be cancelling all other plans for a screening night…with popcorn.
