Last week the whole world experienced the heart-breaking funeral of the late Prince Philip; however, since the funeral, the royals have been relatively quiet.

While the world has been curious about the conversations he had with his brother Harry at the funeral, William did not give in to the drama and instead shared a personal and passionate tweet.

Breaking his silence, the future King tweeted about his passion for football and the emerging Super League idea being bandied about by some of Europe’s biggest soccer clubs.

Under the controversial plan, clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona would form their own 20-team alternative to the UEFA Champions League. However, the idea has been widely dragged by critics who say that it is just an example of money-grabbing by the biggest clubs.

William, who is the President-Designate of the football association, said in a tweet that he thinks the idea poses a risk to the sport.
