We’ve all seen the videos of the orchestra starting to play while people give their acceptance speech, it’s the old “come on buddy, time to wrap it up”.
Yesterday at the Golden Globes some crazy person decided it was time for Michelle Yeoh (‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’) to finish her speech. She was accepting the ‘Best Actress’ award for her starring role in ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ when the music started. She quickly, and fiercely, shut it down before continuing to enjoy her moment.
