It’s time to get out those fluffy scrunchies and platform boots because the Spice Girls are reuniting and are getting ready to spice up our lives with a tour – minus one member.

While it’s been rumoured that the British girl group would be getting back together it’s also been reported that Posh Spice, AKA Victoria Beckham, had no interest in getting back together with the gang.

And so it really came as no surprise when Mel B (Scary Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) announced that they would be doing a reunion tour without Posh.

What Does Posh Spice Think About The Spice Girls Going On Tour Without Her? She Just Responded To The Reunion Tour On Instagram

The official announcement came in the form of a seriously exciting video which the group posted to Instagram on Monday, in which the girls appeared to be getting ready for a TV interview in four separate cities, Spice World, London, Liverpool and Los Angeles.

The skit showed the girls getting into a tiff about their outfits before they brought on all of the 90s nostalgia with a little acapella rendition of ‘Spice Up Your Life’. They also announced their upcoming tour dates in the video.

The video was captioned, “Breaking Spice news… Tickets on sale Saturday 10.30am” before adding the hashtags “#GirlPower #FriendshipNeverEnds”.

While the tour won’t include Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl took to her own Instagram account on Monday to respond to the tour news, wishing the girls “so much love and fun”.

“Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!” she wrote alongside a picture of the other four girls. “I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.”

“I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! x vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends,” she added.

Unfortunately, the Spice Girls tour has not yet announced any dates for Australia. Their six-show tour will kick off June 1, 2019 in Manchester, England, before concluding in England, two weeks later.

The current tour dates include:

June 1 – Manchester Etihad Stadium, Manchester, England

June 3 -Coventry Ricoh Stadium, Coventry, England

June 6 – Sunderland Stadium of Light, Sunderland, England

June 8 – Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, Scotland

June 10 – Bristol Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, England

June 15 – London Wembley Stadium, Wembley, England

Let’s hope that they bring the Spice Down Under after the the success they’ll no doubt have in their home country!
