In 2021 Brisbane Fashion Festival will take the runway ‘to the streets’, taking over King George Square in the heart of Brisbane city from Monday 23 – Wednesday 25 August. This iconic, central location will allow for Brisbane Fashion Festival’s biggest runway yet, inviting hundreds of fashion lovers to revel in each fashion show while keeping the event safe for all involved.

MONDAY 23 AUGUST
Treasury Brisbane Fashion Show – 7PM
King George Square, Brisbane City Hall

The Opening Show sets up all the excitement of Brisbane Fashion FESTIVAL and the new fashion season, with a line-up featuring leading names in Queensland and Australian design. As the first show to kick off the Fashion Festival and with a jam-packed program of well-known fashion labels, this event will sell out.
One of Brisbane Fashion Festival’s newest Partners, The Treasury Brisbane, will this year open the Fashion Festival runway with an exquisite showcase of luxury Australian and high-end international fashion brands, including: Aje, Bianca Spender, Calibre, David Jones, Ginger & Smart, JETS, article:, Camargue and Samantha Ogilvie.

Delight in a showcase of fresh, creative, and avant-garde artistry as the future of fashion hits the runway for the Next Gen Group Show.
The Next Gen Group Show is always one of the most anticipated events on the Fashion Festival calendar, drawing crowds of young fashionistas and industry insiders alike to witness the fresh, creative, and diverse aesthetics of Queensland’s most talented up-and-coming designers. The show includes emerging labels as well as students from the State’s top fashion colleges.

The Next Gen Group Show has consistently provided some of the most impressive visuals, uncompromising aesthetics, and fashion collections with a message: spotlighting issues such as sustainability, gender fluidity and neutrality, diversity, and fashion inclusivity for all.

Show goers will be treated to the diverse and creative visions of kimbralou, QUT Fashion, CHAMANI, TAFE Queensland Brisbane, KG BOLD, Jonathan Usi, JARAWEE, Maven Label, #SELFLOVE CLVB, Joteo and Moreno Marcos.
