Queensland Health has announced that masks will be mandatory across Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Morton, Brisbane, Gold Coast, the Scenic Rim, the Lockyer Valley, and Somerset 

This will be in place for the next two weeks.

There will also be a limit on home gatherings, which will be capped at 30 and the 1 person per 4 square metres will be reintroduced in public spaces.

Indoor wedding ceremonies and funerals 1 person per 2 square metres or 200 people (whichever is greater) or 100 per cent capacity with ticketed and allocated seating.

Gatherings at private residences: limited to a maximum of 100 people.

The rules take effect at 1AM, Tuesday, 29th June.
