Everyone is ‘time poor’ because that’s the latest excuse for everything. The media is also feeding us this nonsense, telling us we’re ‘time poor’, therefore we automatically assume we are time poor…

According to research, millennials are so obsessed with their phones and technology that they report only having 60 minutes without a device each day.

Under 30’s have found that a hectic home and work life is the main cause for this. This means we are never truly relaxing because we’re constantly switched on and plugged in.

Interestingly, most people surveyed admitted that they struggle to go longer than 10 minutes without checking their smart device.

We’ve all read about the age of digital addiction and we’ve all tried a failed “digital detox” at least once.

It’s beyond that – we need an intervention or a cleanse, if you like. Believe it or not, there was once a time when kids went to school, people went to the bathroom and couples lay in bed without a smartphone.

A little less digital consumption, a little more conversation (please)!
