Listener Lucy recently learned from a DNA test that her father was not biological. This rocked Lucy’s world.
We sought the help of PI Dave who has been able to locate Lucy’s father as well as extended family.
With so many questions still left unanswered, Lucy gave Robin & Kip her blessing to get in touch with her mum, who was able to help with the timeline of events that led to her having Lucy.

Once we had a clear indication of the timeline of events, Robin & Kip went back to Lucy with the information. This allowed her to speak to her mum about what happened, however, she would only do this on air with Robin & Kip:
The most ‘mind-boggling’ part of these events is that it’s taken Lucy coming on air to chat to Robin & Kip to allow her to speak to her mum. As it turns out, Lucy and her mum live together but have not spoken about the events that led to Lucy learning about her family, and the subsequent consequences she faces:
