The Valley Fiesta returns to rock the block for a four-day music fest.

For more than two decades, Valley Fiesta has been Brisbane’s weekend-long extended party, showcasing the established and emerging talent of Fortitude Valley’s live music scene in new and heritage venues.

At this year’s Valley Fiesta, presented by Brisbane City Council and QMusic, music fans are invited to party-on-down to a jam-packed program of homegrown acts.

The first line-up release features an inspired mix of artists that includes local luminaries from legendary singer Robert Forster and ‘90s alt-rockers Screamfeeder to new talent including dance-punksters DZ Deathrays.

Rounding out the all-Queensland line-up so far are indie rockers The Cairos, indiefolk singer-songwriter Greta Stanley, our first lady of song Kate MillerHeidke and many more!

Full artist line up can be found here.

These stellar acts will be showcased on stage at top live music venues in and around Fortitude Valley, including Black Bear Lodge, The Brightside, O’Skulligans, The Tivoli and The Triffid.

With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing a shutdown of Brisbane’s beloved Fortitude Valley Live Entertainment Precinct earlier this year, there’s never been a better time to welcome people back to clubs and venues!

“The return of Valley Fiesta comes at a critical time for venues in the Fortitude Valley Live Entertainment Precinct who have been hit extremely hard after COVID-19 shutdowns and subsequent capacity restrictions,” QMusic CEO Angela Samut said.

Valley Fiesta 2020 is a COVID-safe event and will be operating within current COVID-safe plans stipulated by Queensland Health. Patrons are advised to refer to each individual venue’s booking or FAQ page for specific COVID-safe plans at the time of booking.
