Nine News has reported that a woman who tested positive to Coronavirus was at the Avalon RSL and travelled to Queensland this week.

The woman then got in touch with Queensland officials before receiving her results and drove back to Sydney on her own.
While travelling back to Sydney, the woman received a positive test result.
Dr Jeannette Young said the lady in her 50’s travelled from the Northern Beaches on December 16 on Virgin flight VA925 arriving into Brisbane airport at 9.30am.
Contract tracing is underway to find the people who sat near her on the flight.
