If you woke up thinking today’s “just another Tuesday” you’d be terribly, terribly wrong. Today is National Vodka Day which means you’re legally allowed to have a martini with morning tea and your boss can’t fire you*
The best way to celebrate the nectar of the gods is with a Martini, just asked James Bond, and the best Martini needs Grey Goose. Here are five Martini’s to help you celebrate today, and every day.
Classic Martini
Ingredients
– 50ml GREY GOOSE® Vodka
– 10ml Noilly Prat Original French Dry Vermouth
– Dash of Orange Bitters
Method
Add Vodka, Vermouth and bitters to a cocktail shaker and mixing glass filled with ice. Stir and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a lemon twist, grapefruit twist, onions, or olives.
Espresso Martini
Ingredients
– 50ml GREY GOOSE® Vodka
– 30ml Single Origin Espresso
– 20ml Coffee Liqueur
– Pinch of Salt
– 3 Coffee Beans
Method
Add Vodka, Espresso and Coffee Liqueur into a shaker. Shake briskly and strain into a Martini cocktail glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.
Passionfruit Martini
Ingredients
– 40ml GREY GOOSE® Vodka
– 20ml Passionfruit Liqueur
– 50ml Passionfruit Puree
– 2 flat bar spoons of Vanilla Sugar
– 1 shot of champagne on the side
Method
Fill a cocktail shaker with all ingredients and briskly shake for 20 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with half a passionfruit. Serve with a shot of champagne on the side.
French Martini
Ingredients
– 35ml GREY GOOSE® Vodka
– 50ml Freshly Pressed Pineapple Juice
– 10ml Chambord
– Raspberries
Method
Build ingredients in a Boston Glass. Topped with Cubed Ice and Shake. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a Raspberry.
Fireside Martini
Ingredients
– 50ml GREY GOOSE® Vodka
– Organic Maple Syrup
– 1 Sprig Rosemary
– 1 Pinch of Salt
– 50ml Freshly Squeezed Pink Grapefruit Juice
Method
Prep the glassware ahead of time to build in front of guests. In a rocks glass, briefly crush the rosemary leaves into the maple and salt. Fill with ice and add the GREY GOOSE. Top with fresh pink grapefruit juice and stir well. Garnish with an extra sprig of rosemary.
